Does the Zodiac change only apply to people born this year?

There is a 13th Zodiac sign which screwed up the dates for the rest of the signs.

Is the change only for people born this year?

Am I still an Aquarius or do I have to read the from the Capricorn part now?

My birthday is February 9th.|||You're still an Aquarius Ophiuchus is just a constellation we don't follow constellations (in that case we will have over 10000 zodiac signs instead of 12) we follow our only 12 zodiac signs. (seasons, elements, and more).

Ps. have you seen the dates? it gives every single zodiac sign over 30 days and Scorpio only 6 days. If you follow constellations then you should chose one from thousands and thousands with better names and history behind.

You're Aquarius and will always be an Aquarius.

Cancer|||What really matters is where the planets were when you were born. I am a Gemini, born June 17, 1942 and have exhibited Gemini traits though out my life. Being an air sign, it was not surprising to me to hear that both Art Bell and Jeff Rense and myself were Gemini, Mercury was messenger of the gods.

there are two types of astrology, western and sidereal. both have been around for quite some time. western has 12 signs, sidereal has 13. the "new" sign only applies to sidereal, and it isnt even new. it has been acknowledged for a number of years now. i have known about it since at least 2006 when i bought a number of astrology books, and all of them had chapters on sidereal and mention the 13th sign.

the ONLY way the 13th sign will EVER have ANY bearing on your life is if you choose to believe sidereal over western astrology. babies born after 2009 will have the same signs as those born before 2009. it is NOT a new concept, no ones sign has changed, and babies born 20 years from now will still have the same signs available as those born twenty years ago.

the only reason everyone is so confused is because the news article that started all of this did not bother to point out that there are two types of astrology, and made it sound like the 13th sign was discovered yesterday by some bored dude in minnesota. in reality, sidereal has been around for ages, and the concept of this 13th sign has been well known for YEARS by people who pay any actual attention to astrology|||No no no.

you're still the same, the planets are still here and the seasons are still changing.

you're still the same sign.
