Is the gender tendency of a zodiac sign going by sign of conception or birth?

i know that the gender tendencies arent always accurate, i know several cancer males and many virgo males and aries females, but in a book it was saying that cancers are usually females, aries males, etc. but if i was going to guess what gender my baby is based on zodiac charts, would i look at the sign of conception or the sign of birth?|||I don't understand what you mean by "gender tendencies". The terms Feminine and masculine in astrology are not references to gender, especially the person's gender. They are traditional (ie, ancient) references to the way the energy of each sign is distributed. Masculine signs have energy that penetrate other energies and are transmitted out. Feminine signs have energy that are receptive of other energies and tend to absorb or accumulate other energies. Think of them as yin and yang energies.

These signs and placements have nothing to do with the gender of the child at all.

If I'm off mark, please explain a bit further. I'd be interested in hearing the whole theory.|||I thought you said you were reading a book about this. Try and read the whole thing.

Ans: Look at the ultrasound
