What do you all think about the new zodiac sign, Ophicus?

I don't know! I've always been a huge zodiac fan, i'm kind of dissappointed that it is changing now:(. It kind of shows you can't completely believe in it? Ot that someday our children will be like this? On yahoo are they going to change the daily horoscopes to the new ones or keep the rest of us in mind who were born before 2011 and onward?|||it sounds like octopus|||guys technically, this isnt a new calender. its the ORIGINAL calenderr that some scientists messed with a ling time ago because they thought 13 was an unlucky number and didn't fit the 12 month calender. so this is technically the real zodiac you were born under. still don't worry no magazines or newspapers are going to change the way they originally did the zodiac calender so its nothing to worry about. Oh and i think its cool. That is my sign :) well technically but not according to magazines. Still it makes me feel special lol.|||There is no change...

According to the website, it only applies if you were born in 2009 and up, other than that your sign is still the same. It all the depends if you believe in eastern or western astrology. It was confirmed that it was a myth, just a Hoax. The signs only change if you follow sidereal astrology. most people follow tropical though does not change.

this is CNN... you can believe this.|||http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/01/13/no-…|||It never existed.|||I was born on June 19th, and according to the “new zodiac calendar” of 2011, I am now a Taurus, and by the old zodiac signs I was a Gemini.

I am a true Gemini, for the reason being… The “zodiac sign” which in fact Ophiuchus is a true constellation which is AMONG the 12 zodiac signs, but it is not at all PART of the astrological zodiac signs.

The Ophiuchus was a constellation that Nostradamus used to correlate with 2012, or the so called “end of days”. If any of you believe in the 2012 and took a curiosity to the History channel when they were giving a show on the “Lost Books of Nostradamus 2012 and Ophiuchus” then you would have some understand why I believe that Ophiuchus is NOT part of the zodiac sign, but yet part of a more disturbing situation.

“Ophiuchus is one of the 88 known constellations and was also one of the 48 listed by Ptolemy. It is a large constellation located around the celestial equator between Aquila, Serpens and Hercules, northwest of the center of the Milky Way. The southern part lies between Scorpius to the west and Sagittarius to the east. Of the 13 zodiacal constellations (constellations that contain the Sun during the course of the year), Ophiuchus is the only one not counted as an astrological sign.” (Website: http://www.crystalinks.com/lostbookofnostradamus.html), information based off “The lost Book of Nostradamus”

From those who believe in Nostradamus’s drawing of the future that “may” come to pass, is that Ophiuchus is a big part in predicting when the earth will so call “end”.

Nostradamus uses Ophiuchus constellation more as a pinpoint, then an astrological sign. Ophiuchus is irrefutably in-between the astrological constellation Sagittarius and Scorpio.

If you watch the videos that I have posted with this note( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbpER_qKkcI ), you will see in video part 3/3 that Sagittarius’s arrow lines up with Scorpios tail. The gap in-between those two astrological sign is important, for the reason being that it is where the “eight spoked wheel of Kilwinning “. This “eight spoked wheel of Kilwinning “, is in-between Sagittarius’s arrow lines up with Scorpios tail. During the video “Lost Books of Nostradamus 2012 and Ophiuchus 3 of 3” you to forward to about 3min and 27sec. it explains that there is a “cross” that is constant, never changing which falls in-between Sagittarius and Scorpio.

Here is a written script of the audio for us by : (http://www.livedash.com/transcript/the_daily_show_with_jon_stewart/47/COMEDYP/Wednesday_February_24_2010/158081/)

“01:48:02 In this image, we see again the eight-spoked wheel at the top.

01:48:05 I should perhaps explain why the outspoken wheel is so important.

01:48:10 In the sky, there's a great cross that does not move, and it's formed by-- from the center of the galaxy to the edge of the galaxy and from the center point of our celestial equator to the southern point of the celestial equator.

01:48:27 That's the divine cross.

01:48:29 Down here on the ground, we have the mundane cross that is formed by the angles between equinox and solstice and so forth.

01:48:38 So the eight-armed cross, the eight-rayed star, the eight-armed cross, the eight-wheeled spoke represents the alignment in space and time of the divine cross above and the terrestrial, mundane cross below.

01:48:52 Now, curiously enough, this alignment only happens once every 13,000 years.”

As in describing the “divine” cross to you, you can see that the Ophiuchus constellation has no correlation with the “center point of our celestial equator to the southern point of the celestial equator.” Which you can see that the celestial equator is lined up with the Zodiac signs, the Ophiuchus is not in that “celestial equator line”.

So from this article:

New Zodiac Signs 2011: The New Zodiac Signs Dates, Posted by Raghav | Posted on 14-01-2011 says

“Well, Professor Parke Kunkle of the Minnesota Planetarium Society opened his mouth and said “The Zodiac had a problem with the dates. Not only is the Earth aligned differently today than it was in 3000 BC, but we’ve also been leaving the constellation Ophiuchus out of the equation.”

What “Professor Parke Kunkle” doesn’t get is that Ophiuchus ISN’T PART OF zodiac astrological constellations is because it ISN’T one! Ophiuchus is more of a constellation to help pinpoint where the “center” of the galaxy meet the alignment of the “eight spoked wheel”

So this Professor doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about
