How do you find the exact point of the zodiac on which the eastern horizon falls?

I am a novice astrologist and I want to know if and how can you calculate the exact point on which falls the eastren horizon on the zodiac. Also, I have obtained a software piece which reads NASA JPL DE406 files and gives me the astronomical coordinates(x,y %26amp; z) of any planet. Many thanks to anyone who can explain to me how to convert them to zodiac coordinates. e.g.: Libra 03 45' 53"|||In astrological terms that is called the ascendant.

There is plenty of astrological software out there that can calculate that for you, and which will be much easier to use than the JPL ephemerides (unless you're just in it for the math). Also, you should take this to the astrology forum over in Entertainment.|||May I remind you that this section here is ASTRONOMY.

If you have astrological questions go to the appropriate section. I doubt that you can get any help there either. The reason is: Astronomy is an exact science where you can calculate and observe things. This is NOT the case in astrology. There you just believe in superstition. The "astrological calculations" are there to hide the true nature of this non-scientific field. If you like an advice:

Leave astrology to get free from fears - enjoy real life, and if you like the stars, read about astronomy.
