How does the new zodiac affect me?

Now that Ophiuchus has been added to the zodiac, I am apprently now, instead of an Aries, a Pisces.





But somewhere along twitter, I heard that the change only affects people born after 2009....





So am I a Pisces now? Or am I still an Aries?|||ARIES = APRIL 19 - MAY 13

TAURUS = MAY 14 - JUNE 19

GEMINI = JUNE 20 - JULY 20

CANCER = JULY 21 - AUG 9

LEO = AUGUST 10 - SEPTEMBER 15

VIRGO = SEPTEMBER 16 - OCTOBER 30

LIBRA = OCTOBER 31 - NOVEMBER 22

SCORPIO = NOVEMBER 23 - NOVEMBER 29

OPHIUCHUS = NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 17

SAGITTARIUS = DECEMBER 18 - JANUARY 18

CAPRICORN = JANUARY 19 - FEBRUARY 15

AQUARIUS = FEBRUARY 16 - MARCH 11

PISCES = MARCH 12 - APRIL 18|||No you are not. It's a different system that was there all along, you just did not know about it.



All this is just a publicity stunt to drum up interest for when a new book on this Zodiac business comes out, probably in the next week or so. Ignorant people will buy it up in droves, making the author and publicizer of this "new" sign a millionaire.



By the way, apparent changes in the relative positions of the stars and planets are measured in the tens of billions of years. Anything touted as "new" with this Zodiac is really a few hundred billion years old.|||Ophiuchus has not been "added" to the zodiac. It has always been there. The astrologers just have neglected the poor thing in their pseudoscientific calculations. Hence, the horoscopes have _always_ been _wrong_.





The zodiac signs have been shifted since they were first invented thousands of years ago. The Earth axis wobbles slightly over time, which shifts the apparent positions of the zodiacal constellations in the sky.





Astrology is crap. The planets and/or stars have absolutely no detectable effect on individual people's personality here on Earth.|||It doesn't affect you at all, your sign is still the same. The "change" the news was referring to only applies to Sidereal/Vedic astrology-which is used mainly in India and other east Asian countries. We just use Western or Tropical astrology here in the US and Europe.


And the "new" 13th sign Ophiuchus has always been around in Sidereal astrology. The news is just stupid and uninformed.


So there's absolutely no change.|||I'm def a Libra still. There is no way I'm a Virgo now. I know about all the horoscopes and theres no possible way I can just snap into a Virgo lol! There very different from a Libra but I'm not saying their not awesome, just pointing out the different traits. Most Virgos love to keep things organized, clean, and in order, normally choose healthy foods, are very intelligent, and analytical. I'm a laid back, sweet, polite, caring, creative, peace maker, that I have always been.|||its not going to affect you but every single person on this planet. Do you even know what the13th sign looks like or where its exact postion is located among all the rest of the so-called "signs" that r in this galaxy. Do you believe in fate or destiny or goats that were once rams or the fact that i tried to gave you an honest answer to discover something more valuable.|||You are neither. It's all a sham. Suppose i said today is now thursday because the earth rotated on its axis. Surely this might be a prospective idea too right?
